What is the difference between Essential and Premium?
Essential gives you the full study workflow: 30 uploads per month, flashcards, quiz generation, Exam Prep, and Course Workspaces. Premium adds CLARA, your AI tutor. CLARA runs adaptive cram sessions, joins you inside Exam Prep, and can answer questions directly from your notes. Premium also unlocks audio and video lecture uploads.
What file types can I upload?
All plans support PDF, DOCX, PPTX, TXT, and image files (JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF). You can even photograph handwritten notes or textbook pages. Premium subscribers can additionally upload audio and video files, ideal for recorded lectures.
How does Clario build my study pack?
After you upload a document, the AI extracts key concepts from your actual content and generates a summary, key terms, flashcards, and a practice quiz — all tailored to your material, not generic topics.
What is the difference between Cram Mode and Exam Prep?

What is CLARA?

Can I share a study pack with classmates?
Yes, sharing is available on Essential and Premium. Every study pack has a Share button that generates a unique link. Anyone with the link can view the summary, key terms, and flashcards.
What are Course Workspaces?
Course Workspaces let you organize your uploads by class. Create a workspace for Biology, Economics, or any subject and keep all related study packs together in one place.
How long does processing take?
Most documents process in 30 to 60 seconds. Larger files or audio and video content may take 2 to 3 minutes. You will see a live progress indicator while Clario works.
